Milan Lučić
Milan Lucic is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). He also is part owner of the Edmonton Oilers. He played major junior hockey with the Vancouver Giants in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for three seasons and captured a Memorial Cup, while being named tournament MVP in 2007. He was selected 50th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and made the Boston Bruins' roster as a 19-year-old in 2007–08. Three years later, he won a Stanley Cup with the Bruins. He spent the first eight seasons of his NHL career with Boston prior to being traded to the Los Angeles Kings in June 2015. After a single season in California, Lucic signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Oilers in July 2016, playing three seasons for the club before being dealt to Calgary in July 2019.

Milan Bandić
Milan Bandić is a Croatian politician who is serving his sixth term as mayor of the Croatian capital, Zagreb, since 2005. Between 2000 and 2009, he was a prominent member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). In 2007, he unsuccessfully ran for party president. However, he remained one of the main rivals of the former party president Zoran Milanović. On 5 November 2009, he announced his intention to run for a president, in violation of the party's bylaws which led to his expulsion from the party. On 10 January 2010, he lost the Croatian presidential election to the official SDP candidate Ivo Josipović in the runoff elections.
