Arif Memduh Ün was a Turkish film producer, director, actor and screenwriter. His film, The Broken Pots, was entered into the 11th Berlin International Film Festival.

Memduh Ünlütürk was a Turkish general associated with the Counter-Guerrilla and the anti-communist Ziverbey interrogations following the 1971 coup. He was assassinated at his Istanbul home by members of the left-wing revolutionary group Dev Sol. It has been suggested that he was assassinated to protect the secrets of the Turkish deep state; Dev-Sol (DHKP/C) has been accused of links to the Ergenekon organization.

Memduh Tağmaç was a Turkish general. He was the Chief of the General Staff of Turkey during the 1971 Turkish coup d'état, and previously Commander of the Turkish Army and Commander of the First Army of Turkey.

Memduh Oğuz is a Turkish retired bureaucrat who served as the 45th Governor of Isparta between 2010 and 2013, the 36th Governor of Kırklareli between 1999 and 2000, the 29th Governor of Kocaeli between 1996 and 1999, the 37th Governor of Tekirdağ between 1991 and 1992 and as the 36th Governor of Burdur between 1988 and 1991. He is a former Kaymakam . He completed the Governors’ Liaison Program in the U.S. by the National Governors’ Association in 1989. Suleyman Demirel University awarded him an honorary doctorate degree in 2013.
