He is mostly known for directing the films Little Manhattan and Nim's Island. He is married to his collaborator, the screenwriter and director Jennifer Flackett. They are the creators of The Man’s Guide To Love, which began as a successful video blog offering man to man advice on the subject of love. The Mans Guide To Love book will be published by Simon & Schuster, and a feature film they are directing and producing alongside Laurence Mark.

Mark N. Wegman is an American computer scientist known for his contributions to algorithms and compiler optimization. Wegman received his B.A. from New York University and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. He joined IBM Research in 1975, where he currently serves as head of Computer Science. He is a member of the IBM Academy of Technology and a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (1996) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He became an IBM Fellow in 2007. He was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2010.

Mark Cleland Baker is an American linguist. He received his Ph.D. from MIT in 1985 and has taught at Rutgers since 1998. Prof. Baker frequently was a faculty member at the Linguistic Society of America's Summer Institute and, prior to coming to Rutgers, was a faculty member at McGill University (1986-1998). He worked on the Mohawk language for several years, also serving as a consultant on language revitalization for the Mohawk. Working within generative grammar, he wrote several important books about the formal analysis of polysynthetic languages.
