John Gordon is a New Zealand badminton player. He competed at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, and won a bronze medal in the mixed team event.

John K. Mahoney was a former member of the Ohio Senate, representing the 10th District from January 3, 1977 – December 31, 1980. While in the Senate, he was initiated a lot of reform that influenced what today is the Ohio Lottery. He died of lymphoma.

John Langdon was a politician from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and a Founding Father of the United States. He served as a delegate to the Constitutional Convention, signed the United States Constitution, and was one of the first two United States senators from that state.
