Herbert Percy Horne was an English poet, architect, typographer and designer, art historian and antiquarian. He was an associate of the Rhymers' Club in London. He edited the magazines The Century Guild Hobby Horse and The Hobby Horse for the Century Guild of Artists, which he founded with fellow architect Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo in 1882.

Herbert James Clarke was a British figure skater who competed in the 1924 Winter Olympics. He was born in London. In 1924 he finished tenth in the singles event.

Herbert Heyes was an American film actor. He appeared in nearly 100 films between 1915 and 1956, including the famed 1947 film Miracle on 34th Street, in which he played an ahistorical "Mr. Gimbel," owner of Gimbel's Department Store. He was born in Vader, Washington and died in North Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Herbert Brown Maw was an American politician and the eighth Governor of Utah. He served as governor from 1941 to 1949. He was a Democrat and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
