He is best known as a social entrepreneur and for founding Great Gas Petroleum in 2005 and subsequently writing the book The Accidental Entrepreneur: How We Turned €3,749 into a €100 million business in Three Years published by Orpen Press in 2014.

Gerald Edward Connolly is an American politician serving as the United States Representative from Virginia's 11th congressional district, first elected in 2008. The district is anchored in Fairfax County, an affluent suburban county west of Washington, D.C.. It includes all of Fairfax City and part of Prince William County. Connolly is a member of the Democratic Party.

Gerry Bednob is a Trinidadian and Tobagonian American, and Canadian actor and comedian of Bengali Trinidadian descent. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Toronto, and worked as a high school counselor before turning to comedy and moving to Los Angeles. Gerald Raymond "Gerry" Rosenthal is an American actor, voice actor, singer-songwriter, and musician who started out acting in TV commercials at the age of 7. He has starred on films and short films and has guest starred in television series such as Law & Order and Celebrity Deathmatch. He is best known for providing the voice for Jimmy Hopkins, the main playable character in the 2006 video game Bully, for which he was nominated for a 2006 Spike VGA Award for Best Performance by a Human Male. He lives in Jersey City, New Jersey and now mostly works as a guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and singer-songwriter. He teaches private music lessons and performs in gigs professionally. He plays bass in both a Beatles cover band called Hey Bulldog, as well as the Mama Doni Band, and guitar in a wedding band called The Jersey Joint. Rosenthal also writes, records, and plays guitar with his own original bands, Big Wake and The Gerry Rosenthal Trio (GR3). He freelances with as many different projects as possible, and performs solo and duo acoustic sets all over the area.
