Gardner Flint Minshew II is an American football quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at East Carolina before transferring to Washington State, and was drafted by the Jaguars in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Following an injury to starter Nick Foles in the opening game of 2019, Minshew took over starting duties until Foles returned later in the year. He took over starting duties again after Foles was benched following poor performance.

Jack Gardner Boultbee was a Canadian sailor who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics. In 1932 he was a crew member of the Canadian boat Caprice which won the bronze medal in the 6 metre class.

Gardner Raymond Dozois was an American science fiction author and editor. He was the founding editor of The Year's Best Science Fiction anthologies (1984–2018) and was editor of Asimov's Science Fiction magazine (1984–2004), garnering multiple Hugo and Locus Awards for those works almost every year. He also won the Nebula Award for Best Short Story twice. He was inducted to the Science Fiction Hall of Fame on June 25, 2011.

Gardner Francis Cooper Fox was an American writer known best for creating numerous comic book characters for DC Comics. Comic book historians estimate that he wrote more than 4,000 comics stories, including 1,500 for DC Comics. Fox was also a science fiction author and wrote many novels and short stories.

George Cadogan Gardner McKay was an American actor, artist, and author. He is best known for the lead role in the TV series Adventures in Paradise, based loosely on the writings of James Michener. His character, Adam Troy, is a Korean War veteran who purchased the two-masted 82-foot schooner Tiki III, and sailed the South Pacific. The show ran for three seasons on ABC from 1959-1962, for a total of 91 episodes.
