Chester M. Franklin
Chester Mortimer Franklin was an American film director and actor active mainly in the silent era. Born in San Francisco, he was the brother of Sidney A. Franklin. In the late 1910s he co-directed with his brother Sidney several films with all-children casts for William Fox. He directed two silent horror films, the 1924 Behind the Curtain and the 1927 The Thirteenth Hour.

Chester Otto Weger is an American convicted murderer. He was previously the longest-serving inmate incarcerated by the state of Illinois and the third longest in state history before his release on February 21, 2020. He was convicted in 1961 of the murder of one of three women found slain at Starved Rock State Park. He was held at Pinckneyville Correctional Center.
