Anders Celsius
Anders Celsius was a Swedish astronomer, physicist and mathematician. He was professor of astronomy at Uppsala University from 1730 to 1744, but traveled from 1732 to 1735 visiting notable observatories in Germany, Italy and France. He founded the Uppsala Astronomical Observatory in 1741, and in 1742 proposed the Centigrade temperature scale which was later renamed Celsius in his honor.
Anders Antonsen
Anders Antonsen is a Danish badminton player. He won the gold medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships in the boys singles event, and at the same year was awarded the European Young Player of the Year. Together with the national team, he won the European Men's Team Championships in 2016 and 2018; also European Mixed Team Championships in 2017 and 2019. Antonsen was the champion at the 2019 Minsk European Games, and the silver medalists at the 2017 European Championships, and the 2019 World Championships.

Anders Oscar Ahlgren was a Swedish Greco-Roman wrestler. He was a world champion in 1913 and finished second in 1911 and 1922.

Lars Anders Cardinal Arborelius is a Swedish Roman Catholic cardinal. He has been the Bishop of Stockholm since 1998. Pope Francis made him a cardinal, the first ever from Sweden and Scandinavia, on 28 June 2017.

Anders Eggert Magnussen is a Danish handball player currently playing for Skjern Håndbold. He has previously played in Denmark for GOG and german side SG Flensburg-Handewitt. He was part of SG Flensburg-Handewitt team that won the 2013–14 EHF Champions League trophy. In his 11 years with SG Flensburg-Handewitt he played in 461 matches and scored 2531 times.

Anders Ek was a Swedish film actor. He was born in Gothenburg, Sweden and died in Stockholm. He was married to Birgit Cullberg and is the father of dancer Niklas Ek, dancer Mats Ek and actress Malin Ek.

Count Anders Torstenson, Swedish statesman, son of Lennart Torstenson and member of the Privy Council, was from 1674 to 1681 Governor-General of Estonia. The family became extinct in the male line in 1727.
