Alexandre Azaria also known by his alias Replicant is a French composer, songwriter and musician. He presently signs only by his own name.

Alexandr Shefer is a former Kazakh racing cyclist. He was a professional racer from 1993 to 2003. He is the brother of Viktor Shefer, who was also a professional cyclist. Shefer was a coach for Astana from 2007 to 2009, the team of Alexander Vinokourov, alongside team director Belgian Johan Bruyneel.

Alexandre Moos is a Swiss former professional road cyclist and mountain biker. Previously a member of the better-known BMC Racing Team, Moos switched to being a mountain bike specialist in 2011, as the Racing Team brought in several new members from other road teams. He was the Swiss National Road Race champion in 2002.

Alexandre Pliușchin is a Moldovan former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2008 and 2015. He is a four-time National Road Race Champion; winning in 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Pliuschin also represented Moldova in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, having participated in the Men's Road Race and the Men's Individual Pursuit.

Alexandre "Alex" Oliva, is a Brazilian free software activist, developer, vice president of the board of directors of the Free Software Foundation (FSF) and founding member of Free Software Foundation Latin America (FSFLA). He is currently on-hold from his PhD studies at the Institute of Computing of the State University of Campinas, Brazil whilst working as a compiler engineer at Red Hat, contributing in the GCC compiler. He is the maintainer of Linux-libre, a fork of the Linux kernel which removes non-free software components, such as binary blobs from the kernel. The Linux-libre kernels are used in Linux distributions such as Parabola GNU/Linux-libre, gNewSense, and Trisquel, all of which are recommended by the Free Software Foundation and the GNU Project.
