Eberhard Weichold was a German naval officer of World War I who, among other commands, was captain of the submarine SM UC-22. On 10 August 1918, Weichold sank the SS Polynesien while he was in command of SM UC-22. Seventeen people died. Weichold joined the Imperial German Navy on 1 April 1911 as Seekadett, completed his recruit training on SMS Hertha and came afterwards to Naval Academy Mürwik.

Abdullah Azwar Anas is an Indonesian politician who is the current regent of Banyuwangi, East Java. Prior to becoming a regent, he had served as both an elected member of the People's Representative Council and an appointment to the People's Consultative Assembly, for one term each.

John William Ashe was an Antiguan diplomat and politician. He was the President of the United Nations General Assembly at its 68th session, which ran September 2013 to September 2014. He was also President of the UNICEF Executive Board in 2012. He served as Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York of Antigua and Barbuda between 1995 and 2004.

Kennys Vargas Gautier, nicknamed "Gorilla", is a Puerto Rican professional baseball designated hitter and first baseman for the Saraperos de Saltillo of the Mexican League. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins and for the Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).

Tokitsunada Hironori was a sumo wrestler from Waki, Tokushima, Japan. He made his professional debut in March 1985, and reached the top division in May 1992. His highest rank was maegashira 4. He retired in September 1999 and remained in the Sumo Association as jun-toshiyori. He had to leave the Sumo Association in September 2001, having failed to acquire a permanent toshiyori. He was the first jun-toshiyori wrestler to be forced to leave sumo in this way. However he later worked in a private capacity as a coach at Arashio stable. He also ran a chanko restaurant named Tokitsunada in Tokyo.

Timothy P. Dunigan is an American actor who is best known for having played the lead role of Captain Jonathan Power in Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. He also played con-man 1st Lt. Templeton "The Face-Man" Peck in the pilot for the 1980s hit The A-Team, but was replaced by Dirk Benedict for the series. The reason given was that Dunigan was too young for the role, although series creators Frank Lupo and Stephen J. Cannell had wanted Benedict from the start, but were overridden by the network executives.
