Alastair Ian Stewart is a Scottish singer-songwriter and folk-rock musician who rose to prominence as part of the British folk revival in the 1960s and 1970s. He developed a unique style of combining folk-rock songs with delicately woven tales of characters and events from history.

Glenn Stewart is a former Australian professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Leigh Centurions in the Super League. An Australia international and New South Wales State of Origin representative second-row, he previously played for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the NRL, winning the 2008 and 2011 premierships as well as the Clive Churchill Medal with the former.

Dennis C. Stewart is a retired male judoka from Great Britain, who competed for the United Kingdom at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. There he won the bronze medal in the Men's Half-Heavyweight division after being defeated in the semi-finals by Brazil's eventual gold medalist Aurélio Miguel.

Donald Ogden Stewart was an American author and screenwriter, best known for his sophisticated golden era comedies and melodramas, such as The Philadelphia Story, Tarnished Lady and Love Affair. Stewart worked with a number of the great directors of his time, including George Cukor, Michael Curtiz and Ernst Lubitsch. Stewart was also a member of the Algonquin Round Table, and, with Ernest Hemingway's friend Bill Smith, the model for Bill Gorton in The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway. His 1922 parody on etiquette, Perfect Behavior, published by George H Doran and Co, was a favourite book of P. G. Wodehouse.

Lynn "L.D." Stewart is an American businessman. In 1983, Stewart and five associates opened the first Hooters, Inc. restaurant in Clearwater, Florida. The collective Hooters brand has since expanded to more than 430 stores worldwide. Practically every dish on the first menu was an item that Stewart developed himself.
