Juan Pablo Sorín
Juan Pablo Sorín is an Argentine former footballer and current sports broadcaster, who played as a left back or left midfielder. He had a successful club career in his native Argentina with River Plate, in Brazil with Cruzeiro, and with various teams in Europe, including Barcelona, Lazio, Paris Saint-Germain and Villarreal. At international level, he represented the Argentina national team at two FIFA World Cups, and was the captain of Argentine side at the 2006 FIFA World Cup; he also represented his nation in two editions of Copa América, and the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup.
Igor Sorin
Igor Vladimirovich Sorin, was a Russian poet, musician and artist. He was part of the Russian boy band Ivanushki International, which he left in 1998, striving for a solo career. He died in September 1998 when he committed suicide by jumping out of his high-rise apartment building, dying three days later.

Ōtomo Sōrin , also known as Fujiwara no Yoshishige and Ōtomo Yoshishige, was a Japanese feudal lord (daimyō) of the Ōtomo clan, one of the few to have converted to Roman Catholicism (Christianity). The eldest son of Ōtomo Yoshiaki, he inherited the Funai Domain, on Kyūshū, Japan's southernmost main island, from his father. He is perhaps most significant for having appealed to Toyotomi Hideyoshi to intervene in Kyūshū against the Shimazu clan, thus spurring Hideyoshi's Kyūshū Campaign of 1587.
