Antoine Isaac, Baron Silvestre de Sacy, was a French nobleman, linguist and orientalist. His son, Ustazade Silvestre de Sacy, became a journalist.

Louis-Isaac Lemaistre de Sacy, a priest of Port-Royal, was a theologian and French humanist. He is best known for his translation of the Bible, the most widespread French Bible in the 18th century, also known as the Bible de Port-Royal.

Ustazade Silvestre de Sacy was a French journalist. He was born in Paris, and is son of the linguist Antoine-Isaac Silvestre de Sacy (1758-1838), who in 1813, was created a baron. From 1828 to 1877, he was a literary and political contributor to the Journal des Débats. He became a curator at the Bibliothèque Mazarine in 1836 and became its administrator in 1848. He was elected to the Académie française on 18 May 1854, and became a senator in 1865.

Louis de Sacy was a French author, and lawyer. He was the third member elected to occupy seat 2 of the Académie française in 1701. De Sacy was particularly known for his elegant translations of Pliny the Younger's Epistulae and Panegyricus Traiani.
