Meaghan Mikkelson is a Canadian ice hockey player and a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey team and plays for Luleå HF in the Swedish Women's Hockey League. Mikkelson also won gold medals during the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympic Games. She was selected third overall by Team Alberta CWHL in the 2011 CWHL Draft. Also she was a player for the Edmonton Chimos (WWHL).

Melissa Rose Reid is an English professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour and the LPGA Tour. In October 2020, she won her maiden LPGA Tour event, the ShopRite LPGA Classic.

Kerry Melville Reid is a former professional tennis player from Australia. During her 17-year career, Reid won one Grand Slam singles title and 26 other singles titles and was the runner-up in 40 singles tournaments. Reid was included in the year-end world top 10 rankings for 12 consecutive years (1968–1979). She won at least one tournament annually from 1966 through 1979, except for 1975. Her career-high ranking was World No. 5 in 1971, behind Margaret Court, Billie Jean King, Evonne Goolagong, and Rosie Casals.

Peter Reid is a Canadian elite level triathlete. He has gained fame mainly by winning ten Ironman triathlons, including winning the Ironman World Championship three times. During his career as a triathlete Reid lived and trained in Victoria, British Columbia. In June 2006, Reid announced that he was retiring from triathlon. He is now a float plane pilot on Canada's west coast. Reid was inducted into Canada Sports Hall of Fame in 2011, the BC Sports Hall of Fame in 2013 and the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.
