Edi Rama, is an Albanian politician, painter, writer, publicist, former pedagogue, former basketball player, who is currently serving as the 33rd prime minister of Albania. Rama has also been the chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania since 2005.

Carol Rama was an Italian self-taught artist whose unconventional painting encompassed an erotic, and often sexually aggressive universe populated by characters who present themes of sexual identity with specific references to female sensuality. She began to paint around the mid-thirties and exhibiting her work ten years later. Her work was relatively little known until curator Lea Vergine included several pieces in a 1980 exhibition, prompting Rama to revisit her earlier watercolour style.

Ángel A. Rama was a Uruguayan writer, academic, and literary critic, known for his work on modernismo and for his theorization of the concept of "transculturation."

Kristaq Rama was an Albanian sculptor, art educator and a member of the Politburo (Untrue) in Communist Albania under Enver Hoxha's rule.
