Sir George King was a British botanist who was appointed superintendent of the Royal Botanic Garden, Calcutta in 1871, and became the first Director of the Botanical Survey of India from 1890. He was recognised for his work in the cultivation of cinchona and for setting up a system for the inexpensive distribution of quinine throughout India through the postal system.

Tony Emanuel King is an American actor, political activist, and retired football player. A player for the Buffalo Bills for only one season in 1967, King subsequently became an actor and appeared in numerous exploitation and B movies, including several produced in Italy. In the 1980s, he became a member of the Nation of Islam, and changed his name to Malik Farrakhan. He currently serves as the head of security for the hip-hop group Public Enemy.

Nancy King is a jazz singer from Portland, Oregon. Known for her masterful scatting and elastic range, King has performed in worldwide tours and recordings, as well as collaborations with such artists as Jon Hendricks, Vince Guaraldi, Ralph Towner, Dave Friesen and others.
