She is best known for playing Haley Dunphy in the ABC sitcom Modern Family (2009–2020), for which she received critical acclaim and numerous accolades, including four Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, and a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
