Tamer Hassan is a British actor of Turkish Cypriot descent, has three brothers and one sister the youngest of the family Özlem hassan. He is best known for his role as the leader of the Millwall firm, opposite Danny Dyer, in The Football Factory. Hassan has also appeared in Batman Begins, Declan O'Brien's Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead & 2011's Double Jeopardy with Topher Grace.

Thomas Edward Hassan is an American educator and husband of United States Senator and former Governor of New Hampshire Maggie Hassan. He has served as the President of School Year Abroad since June 2016. Previously, he worked at Phillips Exeter Academy, where he began as the Director of College Counseling in 1989, worked as the Dean of Admissions, and was the 14th principal from 2009 until his retirement from the school in 2015. During his 20 years at Exeter, Hassan taught mathematics and junior studies, served as dorm affiliate, and advised student organizations, including Best Buddies and the Random Acts of Kindness club.

Takiyuddin bin Haji Hassan is a Malaysian politician from the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. He has served as Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Parliament and Law in the PN administration under Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin since March 2020. He has also served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Bharu since May 2013. In addition, he has served as the Secretary-General of PAS since June 2015 and its Chief Whip in the Dewan Rakyat and the only member of the Public Accounts Committee from PAS.

Despite not winning a medal, he was cheered on by the crowd as he ran alone on the track for two laps.
