Jane Elizabeth Digby was an English aristocrat, famed for her remarkable love life and lifestyle. She had four husbands and many lovers, including King Ludwig I of Bavaria and his son King Otto of Greece, Bohemian nobleman and Austrian statesman Prince Felix zu Schwarzenberg, and the Greek general Christodoulos Hatzipetros. She died in Damascus, Syria, as the wife of Arab Sheikh Medjuel el Mezrab, who was 20 years her junior.

Sir Kenelm Digby was an English courtier and diplomat. He was also a highly reputed natural philosopher, astrologer and known as a leading Roman Catholic intellectual and Blackloist. For his versatility, he is described in John Pointer's Oxoniensis Academia (1749) as the "Magazine of all Arts and Sciences, or the Ornament of this Nation".

William Digby, 5th Baron Digby was a British peer and Member of Parliament.

Sir Robert Digby PC(I) was an English courtier who owned an estate at Coleshill, Warwickshire. His marriage to Lettice FitzGerald, heir-general to the 11th Earl of Kildare, led him to spend his life litigating over her claims to the Kildare lands. He divided his time between local business in Warwickshire and in Ireland.

Comdr Edward Aylmer Digby RN KC was a British Naval Officer, Kings Council and politician.

Simon Digby was an Irish Anglican bishop at the end of the seventeenth century and the beginning of the eighteenth century. He was the son of Essex Digby. After a short spell as Dean of Kildare in 1678–1679, he was nominated Bishop of Limerick, Ardfert and Aghadoe on 24 January 1679 and consecrated on 23 March that year. In 1690 he was translated to Elphin, being nominated on 4 December and appointed by letters patent on 12 January the following year. He died in office on 7 April 1720.
