List of Famous people with last name Cronstedt

Count Johan Adam Cronstedt was a Swedish Lieutenant General and governor of Östergötland County. He joined up aged 14 and participated in the Russo-Swedish War (1788–90), but he is most notable for his part in the 1808-09 Finnish War and his command of the Savo Brigade.

Dagmar Carola Adelaide Cronstedt was a Swedish countess who during the Second World War worked at Radio Königsberg, broadcasting German propaganda to neutral Sweden. She mainly did a talk show together with Brita Bager, focussing on current news events.

Baron Axel Fredrik Cronstedt was a Swedish mineralogist and chemist who discovered the element nickel in 1751 as a mining expert with the Bureau of Mines. Cronstedt is considered a founder of modern mineralogy, for introducing the blowpipe as a tool for mineralogists, and for proposing that the mineral kingdom be organized on the basis of chemical analysis in his book Försök til mineralogie, eller mineral-rikets upställning.
