Alix of Brittany, Dame de Pontarcy, Countess of Blois, was a Breton noblewoman and a member of the House of Dreux as the eldest daughter of John I, Duke of Brittany. She married John I, Count of Blois. Alix was known for founding religious houses including the Monastery of La Guiche, where she was later buried.

Gilles of Brittany was a Breton prince and Lord of Chantocé. He was the son of John V of Brittany and Joan of France, and the younger brother of the dukes Francis I and Peter II.

Matthew II was the Count of Nantes from 1084 until his death. He was the second son of Duke Hoël II of Brittany and Hawise. He was named for his father's cousin, Count Matthew I of Nantes, perhaps on the presumption that he would inherit Nantes.
