Lynn Willis was a wargame and role-playing game designer, best known for his work with Metagaming Concepts, Game Designers' Workshop (GDW), and Chaosium.

Agnete Friis is a former Danish badminton player. She became Danish Champion in the women's singles in 1941 and 1944 and nine times in women's doubles from 1941-1958. She played for the national team until the end of the 1950s. She also reached three All England Championship Finals in all three categories in 1953. In the singles final she lost to Marie Ussing; the two of them lost the doubles final to Iris Cooley and June White of Great Britain and in the mixed doubles with Poul Holm, they were defeated by Eddy Choong and June White.

Robert Charles Gleason, Jr. was an American murderer sentenced to death and executed by the Commonwealth of Virginia for two separate murders of two of his cellmates. Gleason was an execution volunteer who vowed to continue killing in prison if he did not receive capital punishment.

Saleh Ibn Abdul Rahman Hussayen is a prominent Saudi government official who fell under suspicion following the Sept 11th attacks when it was discovered that three of the hijackers, Hani Hanjour, Khalid Almihdhar, and Nawaf Alhazmi had checked into the Marriott Residence Inn in Herndon, Virginia, the same hotel he was staying at, the night before the attacks.
