Norbert Callens was a former Belgian professional road bicycle racer. He was a professional from 1945 to 1952. His victories include one stage win in the Tour de France and the 1945 edition of the Tour of Belgium. In the 1949 Tour de France, Callens was leading the general classification after he won stage 3, finishing in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Unfortunately for Callens, the truck with the jerseys had broken down and there was no yellow jersey available. The next stage, Callens started with an unofficial yellow jersey, and lost the lead to Jacques Marinelli. In 1994, the Tour de France had a stage finish in Boulogne-sur-Mer again. Callens was invited there, and finally got his yellow jersey, 45 years late.

Nicéphore Dieudonné Soglo is a Beninese politician who was Prime Minister of Benin from 1990 to 1991 and President from 1991 to 1996. He was Mayor of Cotonou from 2003 to 2015. Soglo is married to Rosine Vieyra Soglo, the Beninois former First Lady and politician.

Raymond Hains was a prominent French visual artist and a founder of the Nouveau réalisme movement. In 1960, he signed, along with Arman, François Dufrêne, Yves Klein, Jean Tinguely, Jacques Villeglé and Pierre Restany, the Manifesto of New Realism. In 1997 he was awarded the Kurt Schwitters Prize.

Gennady Vasiliyevich Sarafanov, birth on 1 January 1942 in Sinenkiye, Saratov Oblast, USSR – dead on 29 September 2005, Moscow, Russia, was a Soviet cosmonaut who flew on the Soyuz 15 spaceflight in 1974. This mission was intended to dock with the space station Salyut 3, but failed to do so after the docking system malfunctioned.
