John Campbell Wells was an English actor, writer and satirist.

Gábor Pogány (1915–1999) was a Hungarian-born Italian cinematographer. Born in Budapest and educated in Britain, Pogány emigrated to Italy and spent much of his career in the country. He worked on over a hundred films during his career, mainly Italian films as well as some international productions. He worked frequently with the director Vittorio De Sica on films such as Two Women (1960). In 1960 he won a Nastro d'Argento for best cinematography for his work in Alessandro Blasetti's European Nights.

Thomas Felix Bolack was an American businessman and politician who served as the 20th governor of New Mexico for 32 days in 1962–63.

Gino Penno (1920–1998) was an Italian tenor, who enjoyed a short but brilliant career in opera in the 1950s.

Dan Pedoe was an English-born mathematician and geometer with a career spanning more than sixty years. In the course of his life he wrote approximately fifty research and expository papers in geometry. He is also the author of various core books on mathematics and geometry some of which have remained in print for decades and been translated into several languages. These books include the three-volume Methods of Algebraic Geometry, The Gentle Art of Mathematics, Circles: A Mathematical View, Geometry and the Visual Arts and most recently Japanese Temple Geometry Problems: San Gaku.
