Khan Abdul Ghani Khan
Khan Abdul Ghani Khan SI was a Pashtun philosopher, poet, artist, writer and politician. He was a son of Abdul Ghaffar Khan, a prominent British Raj-era Indian independence activist. Throughout his life as a poet in both British India and Afghanistan, Khan was known by the titles Lewanay Pālsapay and Da īlam Samander.
Sven Stolpe
Sven Stolpe was a Swedish writer, translator, journalist, literary scholar and critic. His brother was Herman Stolpe. Sven Stolpe was active in Swedish literary and intellectual discussion for most of his life. In the early 1930s, he argued for internationalism and argued against aestheticism, but he was also part of the Oxford Group which claimed the necessity of "moral and spiritual re-armament" and later in life, in 1947, he became a Catholic. Among his literary production is a dissertation on Queen Christina of Sweden, who abdicated as a result of her own conversion to Catholicism, which was published in 1959.

McGeorge "Mac" Bundy was an American academic who served as United States National Security Advisor to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson from 1961 through 1966. He was president of the Ford Foundation from 1966 through 1979. Despite his career as a foreign-policy intellectual, educator, and philanthropist, he is best remembered as one of the chief architects of the United States' escalation of the Vietnam War during the Kennedy and Johnson administrations.
Pat Quinlan
Pat Quinlan (1919–1997) was an Irish Army officer who commanded the Irish UN force that fought at the Siege of Jadotville in Katanga in 1961, and surrendered when they ran out of ammunition and other supplies. Despite the initial lack of recognition for the events leading up to the surrender, following Quinlan's death his reputation in Ireland was restored.

Baroness Gösta von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen was the mother of Prince Claus of the Netherlands, who was the Prince Consort of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, thus making her the mother-in-law of the former Dutch Queen. She is also the paternal grandmother of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, who is the current Dutch King.
