John Franklin Miller, an American politician, served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1917 to 1931. He represented the First Congressional District of Washington as a Republican. He also served as the Mayor of Seattle from 1908 through 1910.

Henry Stanley Plummer, M.D. was an American internist and endocrinologist who, along with William Mayo, Charles Mayo, Stinchfield, E. Starr Judd, Christopher Graham, and Donald Balfour founded Mayo Clinic. Plummer is also immortalized as the driving force behind the Plummer Building, which still stands as a part of the Clinic he helped establish.

Duchess Helene of Mecklenburg-Strelitz was a daughter of Duke Georg August of Mecklenburg-Strelitz and his wife, Grand Duchess Catherine Mikhailovna of Russia. She was the second wife of Prince Albert of Saxe-Altenburg.

Stefan Cohn-Vossen was a mathematician, who was responsible for Cohn-Vossen's inequality and the Cohn-Vossen transformation is also named for him. He proved the first version of the splitting theorem.
