Émile Reuter was a Luxembourgish politician. He was the 13th Prime Minister of Luxembourg, serving for six years, from 28 June 1918 until 20 March 1925.

William Willard Wirtz Jr. was a U.S. administrator, cabinet officer, attorney, and law professor. He served as the Secretary of Labor between 1962 and 1969 under the administrations of Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. Wirtz was the last living member of Kennedy's cabinet.

Ernest (Methuen) Mancoba was an avant-garde artist, born in South Africa, who spent the majority of his life in Europe. He was probably South Africa's first professional Black modern artist, and exhibited from the late 1920s onward.
