John Buscema was an American comic book artist and one of the mainstays of Marvel Comics during its 1960s and 1970s ascendancy into an industry leader and its subsequent expansion to a major pop-culture conglomerate. His younger brother Sal Buscema is also a comic book artist.

Vladimir Petrovich Voronkov was a Russian cross-country skier who competed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, training at the Armed Forces sports society in Moscow. He won the 4 x 10 km gold at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo for the USSR. Voronkov also finished 4th in the 30 km event at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble

Al Rinker was an American musician who began his career as a teen performing with Bing Crosby in the early 1920s in Spokane, Washington. In 1925 the pair moved to Los Angeles, eventually forming the Rhythm Boys trio with Harry Barris.
