James Edward Gunn is the Eugene Higgins Professor of Astronomy at Princeton University. Gunn's early theoretical work in astronomy has helped establish the current understanding of how galaxies form, and the properties of the space between galaxies. He also suggested important observational tests to confirm the presence of dark matter in galaxies, and predicted the existence of a Gunn–Peterson trough in the spectra of distant quasars.

Hélène Florent is a Canadian film and television actress. Her roles have included the television series Les Invincibles, Toute la vérité, La galère, and the 2000s revival of Lance et compte, as well as the films Yellowknife, Familia, Life with My Father and Café de Flore. She garnered a Genie Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 32nd Genie Awards for her performance in Café de Flore. She currently resides in Uzbekistan and is married to filmmaker Oleg Karpov. In 2010 she was convicted of "slander of the Uzbek nation" after making a documentary. Since 2010, she can not participate in any official exhibitions in Uzbekistan.
