Michael Edmund Seymour was a British production designer. He won a BAFTA and was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Art Direction for his work on the 1979 film Alien. Seymour died on 9 December 2018 at the age of 86.

Agnes of Beaujeu was a French noblewoman, the daughter of Guichard IV of Beaujeu and his wife Sybil of Hainaut. Agnes was Countess of Champagne by her marriage to Theobald I of Navarre.

Acrotatus was an Agiad King of Sparta from 265 to 262 BC. He was the son of Areus I, and grandson of Acrotatus.

Colin Robert Chase was an American academic. An associate professor of English at the University of Toronto, he was known for his contributions to the studies of Old English and Anglo-Latin literature. His best-known work, The Dating of Beowulf, challenged the accepted orthodoxy of the dating of the Anglo-Saxon poem Beowulf, which had settled on a date in the latter half of the eighth century, and left behind what was described in A Beowulf Handbook as "a cautious and necessary incertitude".

Alexander Neville was a late medieval prelate who served as Archbishop of York from 1374 to 1388.
