Alonso de Mendoza was a Spanish captain, conquistador, and the founder of the city of Nuestra Señora de La Paz. He was appointed by Pedro de la Gasca, the "Peacemaker," to found the city to commemorate the peace in the Peruvian colonies after the defeat of the Pizarro brothers.

Nicolas Dipre was a French early Renaissance painter. Among the Avignon artists of the late 15th and early 16th century, the name Nicola Dipre is among the most famous.

Samuel B. Moore was the sixth Governor of the U.S. state of Alabama from March 3 to November 26, 1831. He was president of the Alabama Senate when Governor Gabriel Moore was elected to the United States Senate, and so became governor when Gabriel Moore resigned to take the seat.

A Sigeberht was the son of Sæward, who was slain in battle against forces from Wessex in 623(?), and father of later king Sighere, but Yorke thought it more likely this was his successor, Sigeberht the Good. Sigeberht the Little was considered a pagan and most likely allied with Penda of Mercia in 635, who was also a pagan.

Morosina Morosini-Grimani, was a Venetian patrician. She was the Dogaressa of Venice from 1595 to 1606.
