George Washington Rains was a United States Army and later Confederate States Army officer. A skilled engineer and inventor; he was instrumental in providing the Confederacy with much-needed gunpowder throughout the American Civil War. He also was the younger brother of fellow Confederate general Gabriel J. Rains.

Appius Annius Trebonius Gallus was a distinguished Roman senator, who was consul in AD 108, as the colleague of Marcus Appius Bradua. He is mentioned in an honorific inscription at Olympia.

Yaqub ibn Ibrahim al-Ansari better known as Abu Yusuf (d.798) was a student of jurist Abu Hanifah (d.767) who helped spread the influence of the Hanafi school of Islamic law through his writings and the government positions he held.

Elka Wardega is an Australian makeup artist specializing in prosthetic makeup. She worked on the TV series Farscape and has worked on such films as Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Moulin Rouge!, and the three The Chronicles of Narnia films produced by Walden Media. In 2016, she won an Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling along with Damian Martin and Lesley Vanderwalt at the 88th Academy Awards for her prosthetic work on the movie Mad Max: Fury Road.

Colin Gibson is an Australian production designer. He is known for his collaborations with George Miller, including Babe, Babe 2: Pig in the City, Happy Feet, Happy Feet Two, and Mad Max: Fury Road, the latter of which resulted in winning the Academy Award for Best Production Design and an AACTA Award. Gibson's other work includes The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, for which he shared a BAFTA award nomination with Owen Paterson.

Frederick I was the Duke of Athens and Neopatria from 1348 to his death, also the Count of Malta. He succeeded his father John, Duke of Randazzo, in Greece after his father died of the Black Plague, but he too died of the same plague seven years later.
