Robert Baberske was a German cinematographer. Although he worked briefly in Britain, Baberske spent most of his career in the German film industry. Baberske began as an assistant to Karl Freund. He became a prominent film technician during the silent era, and later during the Nazi years. Following the Second World War, he lived and worked in East Germany on a number of propaganda films for the state-controlled DEFA studio.

Ralph Senensky is an American television director and writer. He studied at the Pasadena Playhouse and worked as a stage director before directing for television.

Pietro Riva is an Italian long-distance runner who was 5th in 10,000 m at the 2022 European Athletics Championships.

Joseph Addison was an English essayist, poet, playwright and politician. He was the eldest son of The Reverend Lancelot Addison. His name is usually remembered alongside that of his long-standing friend Richard Steele, with whom he founded The Spectator magazine. His simple prose style marked the end of the mannerisms and conventional classical images of the 17th century.

Pierino Favalli was an Italian road cyclist. As an amateur he won the road race at the 1934 national championships and finished third at the 1936 World Championships. He competed in the individual and team road race events at the 1936 Summer Olympics and placed seventh and fourth, respectively. After the Olympics he turned professional and won the Milano–Torino race in 1938–40 and Milan–San Remo race in 1941, finishing second in 1937–38 and 1942. He also won one stage in the 1940 Giro d'Italia.
