Ritchie John Torres is an American politician from New York. A member of the Democratic Party, Torres is the U.S. Representative for New York's 15th congressional district. Previously, Torres served as the New York City Councilmember for the 15th district elected in 2013. Torres was the first openly gay candidate to be elected to legislative office in the Bronx, and the youngest member of the city council. He served as the chair of the Committee on Public Housing, and is a deputy majority leader. As chair of the Oversight and Investigations Committee he focused on taxi medallion predatory loans, and the city's Third Party Transfer Program. In 2016, Torres was a delegate for the Bernie Sanders campaign.

Katie Archibald
Katie Archibald, is a British racing cyclist, who currently rides on the track for Great Britain and Scotland. A member of the Great Britain 2016 Olympic champion team in women's team pursuit, she is a champion in the same event at both the World (2014) and European championships and world record holder. Individually, Archibald has been European champion in the elimination race in 2015, twice in the omnium in 2016 and 2017 and a four time European champion in the individual pursuit between 2013 and 2017. In 2017 she secured her first individual global title, winning the Omnium at the 2017 UCI Track Cycling World Championships and won a third world championship the following year when partnering Emily Nelson to win the Madison at the 2018 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. Her brother, John, is also a cyclist. Both won medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games representing Scotland; Katie gold in the women's individual pursuit and John silver in the men's. She holds the women's British national record for the individual pursuit.
