Philippe Karsenty is a French politician and founder of Media-Ratings, a company monitoring the French media for bias. Karsenty came to public attention when he was sued for libel by the public French television network, France 2, over accusations of staged footage by France 2 over the killing of a 12-year-old Palestinian boy, Muhammad al-Durrah. The libel suit lasted a decade, with the ultimate verdict being against Karsenty and requiring him to pay damages to France 2.

Claudius Afolabi Siffre is a British singer, songwriter, musician and poet. Siffre released six albums between 1970 and 1975, and four between 1988 and 1998. His best known compositions include "It Must Be Love", "Crying Laughing Loving Lying", and "(Something Inside) So Strong". His music has been sampled extensively by hip-hop artists, including Eminem, Jay-Z, and Kanye West. Siffre has published essays, the stage and TV play Deathwrite and three volumes of poetry: Nigger, Blood on the Page and Monument.

Volker David Kirchner was a German composer and violist. After studies of violin and composition at the Peter Cornelius Conservatory, the Hochschule für Musik Köln and the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, he worked for decades as a violist in the Radio-Sinfonie-Orchester Frankfurt. He was simultaneously the violist in the Kehr Trio founded by his violin teacher Günter Kehr, and a composer of incidental music at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden.
