Joaquim de Magalhães Fernandes Barreiros, known professionally as Quim Barreiros, is a Portuguese Pimba music writer, singer and accordion player, more known for his double entendre songs. Among his biggest hits are Bacalhau à Portuguesa [Portuguese Style Cod] (1986), A Garagem da Vizinha [The Neighbour's Garage] (2000) and A Cabritinha [The Little Goat] (2004).

Derren Nesbitt is a British actor. Nesbitt's film career began in the late 1950s and he also appeared in numerous TV series in the late 1960s into the 1970s. He is well-remembered for his role as Major von Hapen in the 1968 film Where Eagles Dare.

Myroslava Gongadze is a Ukrainian journalist and political activist currently living in the United States. Her husband, journalist Georgiy Gongadze, was abducted and murdered in 2000. Since then she has been a prominent advocate for freedom of the press and protection of the safety of reporters in Ukraine, and has continued to work for justice in the case of her husband's murder.

Brian Philip Welch, also known by his stage name Head, is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is one of the guitarists and founding member of the nu metal band Korn and his solo project Love and Death. Along with fellow Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer, Welch helped develop Korn's distinctive sound, a mix of sirenlike shards of dissonant guitar that mimicked a turntablist's various effects and rumbling down-tuned riffing, that defined the nu metal aesthetic beginning in the mid-'90s.

Emed Akel also spelled Imad Akel was a commander of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. He was killed at age 22 by Israeli forces outside a house where he was hiding in 1993. In July 2009, Hamas released its first film, a two-hour biopic celebrating the life and martyrdom of Akel. The film was written by Hamas strongman Mahmoud al-Zahar and the interior minister, Fathi Hamad.

Mauricio Alonso Toledo Gutiérrez is a Mexican-Chilean politician from the Party of the Democratic Revolution. From 2009 to 2012 he served as Deputy of the LXI Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing the Federal District.

Sabine Braun is a German former athlete in track and field. Because she had talents in several disciplines, Sabine Braun competed in the heptathlon and had a number of successes. Her international sport career began in August 1983 with the European Junior Championships where she won second place.
