Pierre Emil George Salinger was an American journalist, author and politician. He had served as the ninth White House Press Secretary for United States Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. Salinger served as a United States Senator in 1964 and as campaign manager for the 1968 Robert F. Kennedy presidential campaign.

Javier Ortega Desio is an Argentine rugby union player who plays as a loose forward for the Argentine Super Rugby side Jaguares, and the Argentina national rugby union team.

Alexander Robert Johnston was a British colonial official who served twice as Acting Administrator of Hong Kong from 1841 to 1842. He also served in the Executive and Legislative Councils of Hong Kong. He became a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1845 for his work on the natural history of China.
