Alexandar Georgiyevich Georgiev is a Bulgarian-born Russian professional ice hockey goaltender for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is the first Bulgarian-born player to play in the NHL.

Pavel Yuryevich Gubarev, born 10 February 1983 in Sievierodonetsk, is a Ukrainian pro-Russian activist who proclaimed himself the "People's Governor" of the Donetsk Region at the Regional Assembly on 3 March 2014, after separatists seized the building. Gubarev had earlier declared himself leader of the Donbas People's Militia. But since then he has been sidelined by other separatist leaders and was banned from taking part in the 2014 Donbas parliamentary elections. These elections also eliminated the post of "People's Governor". Gubarev was not a major figure in local politics prior to the beginning of the 2014 pro-Russian conflict in Ukraine.

Norbert Feher, also known as "Igor the Russian", "Igor Vaclavic" and "Ezequiel", is a Serbian criminal of Hungarian ethnicity. He is credited with various crimes of murder and robbery in Italy and Spain. He is currently in the latter serving his sentence after being captured after his last crime in Andorra, Teruel, Spain.

Masakazu Imanari is a Japanese former professional wrestler and current mixed martial artist currently competing in the Featherweight division of ONE Championship. A professional competitor since 2000, he is a veteran of DEEP, ZST, Pancrase, PRIDE Fighting Championships, and Cage Rage. Imanari also has had a successful career in Combat Wrestling, placing as high as third and second in their All-Japan championship tournaments. He was in the final Cage Rage Featherweight Champion, DEEP Bantamweight Champion, two-time DEEP Featherweight Champion and DREAM Japan Grand Prix Finalist.
