Otar Japaridze is a Georgian former competitive ice dancer. With former partner Allison Reed, he represented Georgia at the 2010 Winter Olympics. He later skated with Angelina Telegina.

Juraj Sagan is a Slovak professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Bora–Hansgrohe. Sagan has also formerly competed with Liquigas–Doimo and Tinkoff–Saxo. His younger brother Peter Sagan, a 3-time World Road Race Champion, is also a member of the Bora–Hansgrohe team. In June 2017, he was named in the startlist for the 2017 Tour de France.

Niels Kaj Jerne, FRS was a Danish immunologist. He shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1984 with Georges J. F. Köhler and César Milstein "for theories concerning the specificity in development and control of the immune system and the discovery of the principle for production of monoclonal antibodies".

John Bryce McLeod, was a British mathematician, who worked on linear and nonlinear partial and ordinary differential equations.

Gertrud Schubart-Fikentscher became Germany's first female professor of Law in September 1948, and remained the country's only female university law professor - after 1957 an emeritus (retired) law professor - for seventeen years. She taught at the University of Halle. By the time she received and accepted her professorship she was a few months short of her fifty-second birthday, reflecting a somewhat indirect career trajectory, her having grown up in a country where the educational system was not set up to enable women either to study or teach at any university.

Ross Lee Finney Junior was an American composer born in Wells, Minnesota who taught for many years at the University of Michigan. He received his early training at Carleton College and the University of Minnesota and also studied with Nadia Boulanger, Edward Burlingame Hill, Alban Berg and Roger Sessions. In 1928 he spent a year at Harvard University and then joined the faculty at Smith College, where he founded the Smith College Archives and conducted the Northampton Chamber Orchestra. In 1935, his setting of poems by Archibald MacLeish won the Connecticut Valley Prize, and in 1937, his First String Quartet received a Pulitzer Scholarship Award. A Guggenheim Fellowship funded travel in Europe in 1937. During World War II, Finney served in the Office of Strategic Services, and received a Purple Heart and a Certificate of Merit.

Alika Lindbergh, commonly known by her former name Monique Watteau, is a Belgian fantasy fiction writer and artist.

Catriona Ann Le May Doan, is a Canadian speed skater and a double Olympic champion in the 500 m and will be the chef de mission for Team Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
