Peter David Ebdon is an English retired professional snooker player. He was World Champion in 2002, beating Stephen Hendry 18–17 in the final, and won the UK Championship in 2006 and seven other ranking events between 1993 and 2012. He was also a losing finalist in the World Championship in 1996 and 2006. Ebdon turned professional in 1991 and beat six-time world champion Steve Davis 10–4 in the first round of the 1992 World Championship.

Simeon Saunders Booker Jr. was an African-American journalist whose work appeared in leading news publications for more than 50 years. He was known for his journalistic works during the civil rights movement and for his coverage of the 1955 murder of 14-year-old Emmett Till. He worked for The Washington Post, Jet, and Ebony.

Flossie Wong-Staal was a Chinese-American virologist and molecular biologist. She was the first scientist to clone HIV and determine the function of its genes, which was a major step in proving that HIV is the cause of AIDS. From 1990 to 2002, she held the Florence Riford Chair in AIDS Research at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She was co-founder and, after retiring from UCSD, she became the chief scientific officer of Immusol, which was renamed iTherX Pharmaceuticals in 2007 when it transitioned to a drug development company focused on hepatitis C, and continued as chief scientific officer.

Mason Durell Betha, better known by his mononym Mase, is an American rapper, songwriter and minister. In the late 1990s he recorded at Bad Boy Records alongside Sean "Diddy" Combs. From 1996 to 1999, as a lead or featured artist, Mase had six Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 singles and five US Rap No. 1 singles. His 1997 album Harlem World was Grammy nominated and certified quadruple Platinum by RIAA. His two other albums, Double Up and Welcome Back, are both certified Double platinum and Gold by RIAA.

George William Bailey is an American actor. Although he appeared in many dramatic roles, he may be best remembered for his "crusty" comedic characters such as Staff Sergeant Luther Rizzo in M*A*S*H ; Lieutenant/Captain Thaddeus Harris in the Police Academy films (1984–1994), and Captain Felix Maxwell in Mannequin (1987). He played the role of Detective Lieutenant Louie Provenza on TNT's television crime drama The Closer, and its spinoff series Major Crimes, from 2005 to 2018.

Ryo Nishikata is a Japanese tarento and actress. Her real name is Atsuko Kimura . She appeared in the Nippon TV series Koi no kara Sawagi as the ninth generation member from 2002 to 2003 and was nicknamed Sakan-ya (左官屋). In 2004 she started other careers other than a tarento. She appeared in television advertisements and music videos. Her film debut was Nise-satsu in April 2009.

Daniel Ståhl is a Swedish athlete specialising in the discus throw. He competed at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing finishing fifth. In 2016, he competed at the European Championships, where he finished fifth. Daniel also competed at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro the same year, where he failed to qualify for the final. Just a couple of weeks following his failure in Rio, Daniel competed at the Swedish Championships in Sollentuna. Not only did he win the discus throw on a new personal best 68.72 metres, it was also the new world leading throw of 2016, surpassing Christoph Harting's 68.37 metres from the Rio Olympics final. By the end of the year, it remained the number one throw in 2016. The day before, Daniel had also won the shot put on a new personal best 19.38 metres. In June 2017, Ståhl managed a throw of 71.29 metres in Sollentuna, setting a new personal best and improving the Swedish record set in 1984 by Rickard Bruch by three centimetres. Ståhl's throw was farther than any discus throw in the world since 2013.
