Mark Snow is an American composer for film and television. Among his most famous compositions is the theme music for science fiction television series The X-Files. The theme reached no. 2 on the UK Singles Chart. Snow also wrote the music for another Chris Carter series, Millennium, and the background music scores for both shows, a total of 12 seasons.

Marc Rothemund is a German film director. He is the son of the film director Sigi Rothemund and the brother of the actress Nina Rothemund. He began his career as an assistant for his father and then began to direct episodes for TV series. His first feature film was the 1998 production Das merkwürdige Verhalten geschlechtsreifer Großstädter zur Paarungszeit. In 2005 he directed the film Sophie Scholl – The Final Days, written by Fred Breinersdorfer, which was nominated for the 78th Academy Awards Best Foreign Language Film and received numerous other awards, including the Silver Bear for Best Director at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Ugo Amaldi; born 1934, is an Italian physicist. He is the son of the first CERN secretary general Edoardo Amaldi. Ugo Amaldi is currently a professor at University of Milan, having previously worked at Istituto Superiore di Sanità and CERN. He holds honorary doctorates from University of Lyon, University of Uppsala (1993), University of Valencia and University of Helsinki. He is a Fellow of the European Physical Society, a Distinguished Affiliated Professor at Technical University of Munich, member of the Accademia dei Lincei, and was awarded the inaugural Bruno Pontecorvo Prize by JINR. He also founded the Hadron Therapy Project at CERN in 1991.

Masayoshi Takemura is a Japanese politician. Elected as a representative of the Liberal Democratic Party, in 1993 he broke away to form New Party Sakigake, before joining the newly formed Democratic Party of Japan in 1997. He served as chief cabinet secretary and then finance minister in the Japanese government of the mid-1990s.

Karen Ellemann Kloch, formerly Karen Ellemann Karabian, is a Danish politician, who is a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party. She is a former minister, having held the positions of Minister of Fisheries, Equality and Nordic Cooperation, Minister of the Environment and Minister of the Interior and Social Affairs.
