Duchess Elisabeth Albertine of Saxe-Hildburghausen was a Duchess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. She served as regent for her son after the deaths in 1752–1753 of her husband and brother-in-law of, respectively, the ducal appanage of Mirow and of the Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.

Christian August I, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg was a son of Frederick William of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg, who was himself a son of Ernest Günther.

Fabiana da Silva Simões, simply known as Fabiana or Fabiana Baiana, is a Brazilian football defender who last played for Barcelona in the Primera División and for the Brazil national team. From 2009 to 2010, she played in the United States for the Boston Breakers of Women's Professional Soccer (WPS). As well as teams in her native Brazil, Fabiana has played for Sporting de Huelva of Spain's Primera División and WFC Rossiyanka of the Russian Top Division.

He was the presidential candidate for his party in the Mexican general elections of 2012.

Daniel Anthony Mitrione was a U.S. government torture advisor in Latin America who was kidnapped and executed by the Tupamaros guerrilla group fighting against the authoritarian government in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Humbert III, surnamed the Blessed, was Count of Savoy from 1148 to 1188. His parents were Amadeus III of Savoy and Mathilde d'Albon the daughter of Guigues III of Albon. He ceded rights and benefits to monasteries and played a decisive role in the organization of Hautecombe Abbey. It is said that he would rather have been monk than a sovereign. On the death of his third wife he retired to Hautecombe, but then changed his mind and, by his fourth wife finally had son, Thomas. He sided with the Guelph party of Pope Alexander III against the Ghibelline Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. The result was an invasion of his states twice: in 1174 Susa was set on fire, and in 1187 Henry VI banished him from the Holy Roman Empire and wrested away most of his domains, of which he was left only with the valleys of Susa and Aosta. He died at Chambéry in 1189. He was the first prince buried at Hautecombe. His memorial day is March 4.
