George Akiyama was a Japanese manga artist known for dealing with controversial and incendiary topics in many of his works. He was born the second boy of five siblings. He had an older brother and older sister, as well as a younger brother and younger sister. His father was Korean and an artificial flower craftsman.

Mary Ward was an Irish naturalist, astronomer, microscopist, author, and artist. She was killed when she fell under the wheels of an experimental steam car built by her cousins. As the event occurred in 1869, she is the first person known to have been killed by a motor vehicle.

John Burningham was an English author and illustrator of children's books, especially picture books for young children. He lived in north London with his wife Helen Oxenbury, another illustrator. His last published work was a husband-and-wife collaboration, There's Going to Be a New Baby, written by John and illustrated by Helen for "ages 2+".

Catherine Elizabeth Pierson is an American singer, lyricist, and one of the singers and founding members of the B-52's. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays guitar, bass and various keyboard instruments. In the B-52s, she has performed alongside Cindy Wilson, Fred Schneider, Ricky Wilson, and Keith Strickland. In the early years, as well as being a vocalist, Pierson was the main keyboard player and was notable for performing on a keyboard bass during many live shows and on many of the band's recordings, taking on a role usually filled by a bass guitar player, which differentiated the band from their contemporaries. This, along with Pierson's distinctive wide-ranging singing voice, remains a trademark of the B-52's unique sound. Pierson has also collaborated with many other artists including The Ramones, Iggy Pop and R.E.M.

Chan Peng Soon is a Malaysian professional badminton player specialised in the mixed doubles event. He is best known for his partnership with Goh Liu Ying where they have been consistently ranked among the top 10 mixed doubles pair in the world. Chan and Goh reached their career high ranking of world No. 3 in 2012 and won the silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Karina Eliana Rabolini is an Argentine businesswoman and former model. She was the second lady of Argentina from 2003 to 2007 and first lady of Buenos Aires Province from 2007 to 2015 as the wife of governor Daniel Scioli. She also served as the president of the Bank of the Province of Buenos Aires Foundation during the latter term.

Michael Johnston Condon is an American professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for the Syracuse Crunch in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously also played in the NHL for the Montreal Canadiens, Pittsburgh Penguins and Ottawa Senators.
