John Rhys-Davies
John Rhys-Davies is a Welsh actor and voice actor. He is known for portraying the role of Gimli and the voice of Treebeard in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Sallah in the Indiana Jones films. He also played Michael Malone in the 1993 remake of the 1950s television series The Untouchables, Vasco Rodrigues in the mini-series Shōgun, Prof. Maximillian Arturo in Sliders, King Richard I in Robin of Sherwood, General Leonid Pushkin in the James Bond film The Living Daylights, and Macro in I, Claudius. He provided the voices of Cassim in Aladdin and the King of Thieves, Ranjan's father in The Jungle Book 2, Macbeth in Gargoyles, Man Ray in SpongeBob SquarePants, Hades in Justice League and Tobias in the computer game Freelancer.

Alun Wyn Jones
Alun Wyn Jones is a Welsh professional rugby union player. He is the current captain of the Wales national team, and the former captain of the Ospreys. He is the world's most-capped Rugby Union player and Wales' most capped international player. He is one of a small group of Welsh players to have won three Grand Slams including Gerald Davies, Gareth Edwards, JPR Williams, Ryan Jones, Adam Jones and Gethin Jenkins. He was named as the best player of the 2019 Six Nations Championship.

Gareth Thomas
Gareth Thomas, nicknamed "Alfie", is a Welsh former professional rugby player, who represented Wales in both rugby union and rugby league. With 100 test match appearances he was the most capped Welsh rugby union player until he was overtaken by Stephen Jones in September 2011. He is currently ranked 14th among international try scorers, and is the second highest Wales try scorer behind Shane Williams. He also won four rugby league caps for Wales, scoring three tries.

Timothy Evans
Timothy John Evans was a Welshman wrongfully accused of the murder of his wife and infant daughter at their residence at 10 Rillington Place in Notting Hill, London. In January 1950, Evans was tried and convicted for the murder of his daughter, and he was executed by hanging in March of the same year.
