Denis Alexeyevich Kolodin is a Russian football coach and former central defender. He was called up to the Russia squad for UEFA Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland.

Olga Sergeyevna Akopyan is a retired Russian handball player who last played for Lada Togliatti and the Russian national handball team. She won the world title in 2007 and 2009 and an Olympic gold medal in 2016, placing eighth in 2012.

Denis Pankratov is a retired Russian butterfly swimmer of the 1990s, who was best known for winning the butterfly double at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, United States in a unique style. His 100 m butterfly triumph is particularly remembered for his swimming over 25 m of the first lap underwater and then 15 m in the opposite direction, also underwater. He trained at the Volgograd club with fellow individual gold medallist at Swimming World World Swimmer of the Year Yevgeny Sadovyi.

According to Russian security agency he was the main organizer of the February 2004 Moscow Metro bombing, 2007 Nevsky Express bombing and many smaller terrorist acts in Samara, Voronesh and Moscow Oblast. According to some versions he is also responsible for the 2009 Nevsky Express bombing.
