Martin of Tours was the third bishop of Tours. He has become one of the most familiar and recognizable Christian saints in France, heralded as the patron saint of the French Third Republic, and is patron saint of many communities and organizations across Europe. A native of Pannonia, he converted to Christianity at a young age. He served in the Roman cavalry in Gaul, but left military service at some point prior to 361, when he became a disciple of Hilary of Poitiers, establishing the monastery at Ligugé. He was consecrated as Bishop of Caesarodunum (Tours) in 371. As bishop, he was active in the suppression of the remnants of Gallo-Roman religion, but he opposed the violent persecution of the Priscillianist sect of ascetics.

András Schäfer is a Hungarian international footballer who plays for Slovak Fortuna Liga club FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda.

Zoltán Stieber is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays for Újpest and the Hungary national football team. Having spent time in a number of Hungarian youth sides Stieber spent four years with the academy of Premier League side Aston Villa before moving to Germany where he worked his way up the league system. He became a regular international player for Hungary including in their Euro 2016 finals squad.

András István Arató is a retired Hungarian electrical engineer and model. Best known for becoming an Internet meme, Arató has been in and out of the stock photo and advertisement industry as a model since disclosing his identity. Arató's modelling for stock photography garnered attention as soon as 2011, coming to be known in meme culture as "Hide the Pain Harold" due to his overall facial expression and seemingly fake smile.

Gyula Lóránt, born as Gyula Lipovics, was a Hungarian footballer and manager of Croatian descent. He played as a defender and midfielder for, among others, UTA Arad, Vasas SC, Honvéd and Hungary.

Éva Földes was a Hungarian author and Olympic bronze medalist. She was born in Szombathely and died in Balatonalmádi. During the London 1948 Summer Olympics, she competed in the 'epic works' category producing "Der Jugendquell", which won her a bronze medal.

Count András Hadik de Futak was a Hungarian nobleman and Field Marshal of the Habsburg Army. He was Governor of Galicia and Lodomeria from January 1774 to June 1774, and the father of Karl Joseph Hadik von Futak. He is famous for capturing the Prussian capital Berlin during the Seven Years' War.
