Cedric Levan Richmond is an American lawyer and politician serving as a Senior Advisor to the President and director of the White House Office of Public Engagement since 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, he was the U.S. Representative for Louisiana's 2nd congressional district from 2011 to 2021. His district included most of New Orleans.

Patrick De'mon Peterson Jr. is an American football cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in the country, the Jim Thorpe Award as the best defensive back, and was unanimously recognized as an All-American. He was selected fifth overall by the Cardinals in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Peterson was invited to the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight seasons in the NFL.

Joseph Patrick Kennedy Jr. was a US Navy lieutenant who was killed in action during World War II while serving as a land-based patrol bomber pilot. McCartney's 1990 team was crowned as national champions by the Associated Press, splitting the title with the Georgia Tech team that topped the final Coaches' Poll rankings.
