Ferenc Hirt was a Hungarian entrepreneur and politician, member of the National Assembly (MP) for Tamási from 2006 to 2014, and for Paks from 2014 to 2018. He was elected MP via the Fidesz national list in 2018. He was the first physically disabled MP in the Hungarian Parliament.

Mihály Babits was a Hungarian poet, writer and translator. His poems are well known for their intense religious themes. His novels such as “The Children of Death” (1927) explore psychological problems.

Attila Kovács is a former Hungarian sprinter. He is an 11-time Hungarian 100 metre champion, and a 4-time 200 metre champion.

Tamás Mellár is a Hungarian economist, statistician, professor and politician. He is a member of parliament in the National Assembly of Hungary (Országgyűlés) since May 2018.

Vilmos Freund was a Hungarian Jewish architect.
