Dai-Kang Yang is a Taiwanese professional baseball player. He plays as an outfielder for the Yomiuri Giants in Nippon Professional Baseball.

Kulilay Amit, better known by her stage name A-Mei, is a Taiwanese Puyuma singer and record producer. In 1996, she made her singing debut and released her album, Sisters. Her albums Truth (2001), Amit (2009), and Faces of Paranoia (2014) each won her a Golden Melody Award for Best Mandarin Female Singer and made her one of the singers who won the category the most times. Having sold more than 50 million records, she has achieved success in the Mandarin-speaking world, and she is often referred to as the "Queen of Mandopop".

Genji Kaku/Yuen-chih Kuo, is a Taiwanese former professional baseball player from Taitung, Taiwan. His family comes from the Taiwanese aborigines. He obtained Japanese citizenship in September, 1989, and holds dual Japanese/Taiwan citizenships since 1999. While in Japan, he often uses the Japanese name, 佳久 源治.

He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He is the younger brother of former Chicago Cubs minor league player Wang Yao-lin. He played in 2004 Little League World Series for Taiwan. He is a member of the Amis people.

Chi Chia-ying ; born Auli Puruburubuane on 8 January 1983), known professionally as Jia Jia, is a Taiwanese aboriginal singer and songwriter. She was born in Taitung City to a father of Bunun descent and a mother of Puyuma descent. Her uncle is Purdur, the winner of the Best Mandarin Male Singer of the 11th Golden Melody Awards. Her sister is the singer Samingad.

Kong Jaw-sheng was a Taiwanese banker. He served as the first chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission from 2004 to 2006. He was born in Guanshan, Taitung.
